Edward Krasinski/Bleu Line/Displacement' (2022)
Demeulenaere and Moumouh get to know Krasinski's work through the intervention in his studio/studio/apartment that he shared with Henryk Stazewski in Warsaw/Warsaw. The “animator of the blue line” what Edward Krasinski most liked to call himself, uses a blue line as his trademark, made of electrical tape placed 1m30 above the ground, travels across windows, walls, curtains, private mementos, a publicity poster for one of his exhibitions, paintings hung or wrapped and leaning against walls, sinks surrounded by cleaning detergents.
With the same attitude, Demeulenaere and Moumouh want to move this blue line to the Maison André Breton. By applying the blue tape to the wall in this house, it turns the room into an artistic place, an art space, a stage. They temporarily appropriate the space, after this action where the application of this blue line is filmed simultaneously by the same artists, they roll up the tape again in the opposite direction.
