Archive de Zwanze (2024)
Idris Sevenans
Since 2022, Idris Sevenans has meticulously organized the archives of his project Radicale 1924 within his ' Floating Archive' initiated on July 4th, 2022, for the inauguration of the Nightshop at Radicale in the village. For this final exhibition, we are proud to present the 'Archive de Zwanze'.
'In keeping with the long tradition of Zwanze and surrealism, the rebellious installations and interventions of Idris Sevenans truly shine. His Tour de Zwanze is an associative and disruptive interplay, where artistic seriousness meets popular banter and parody. Here too, the potato—symbolically portrayed as a stone—takes on significance. After all, what would this nation at the heart of Europe be without the potato?' ( Dennis Van Mol, September 2024)
